Candelabra made from lines

This project explores the idea of what functions as a candelabra situated in the landscape of the table top as well as existing as a sculptural object when not in use.

Scaffolding and metal supports are the starting point, exploring through drawing 2D and 3D the idea of creating volume without having to be concerned by material weight.  Scale is still fluid but the sense of function is in the foreground.

This model is made from soldered copper covered steel rods – welding rods – and the candle holders are 10mm copper pipe.

The piece is still very much a work in progress and I’m still playing with placement of the candle holders.

Size: 350 x 280 x 310mm (lwh), candles are 400mm tall

Make it stand out

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
